There are numerous known cases of suspects with criminal ties dying in police custody, allegedly during shootouts while escorting officers to weapons caches. There is a widespread public perception that, while the rule of law is grossly violated in such situations, police act arbitrarily, disregarding due process.
However, it's not the police or specific officers, but certain government structures that are interested in the physical elimination of such suspects. The police merely carry out their wishes. As an incentive, the officers in question are offered the possibility of promotion. This film explores the thoughts and inner experiences of three officers who travel together to the location where the murder of a suspect with whom they have no personal grudge is to take place.
